The Sustainable Household Scheme – the ACT’s zero interest loan scheme for energy efficient heat pumps and other appliances
This scheme provides zero-interest loans to help with the costs of energy-efficient upgrades, including hot water heat pumps, specifically:
If you’re eligible, you can get a loan from $2,000 to $15,000. You can repay the loan over up to 10 years. We can do the referral to the Scheme to get you started in about 5 minutes.
Over the life of the scheme, you can install one product or a bundle of products from the list of eligible products. Together, these can be valued at up to $15,000. This means that apart from getting a zero-interest loan for your heat pump hot water system, you can use the balance of the available $15,000 to purchase another energy efficient product such as a reverse cycle heating and cooling system, rooftop solar, or a induction cooktop.
